  • The Right Catering Company Chefs Delivered Michelin Star * Quality Food for the World Event of Hennessy’s 250th Anniversary held in City Hall, Dublin.

     

    The menu was designed by The Right Catering Company in conjunction with the event organisors to cater for VIP’s from around the globe. The starters consisted of Safron Crisp, Scollop and Saffron Cream, Crab and SAffron Maki, Saffron Poultry with Hennessy H250 Collector Blend. After such a delightful starter came, Cocoa Salmon, Cloudy Bay Chardonnay 2013. Onto the mains with Filet of beef, Artichoke Puree and Foie Gras Parcel, Chantenay Carrot, Port Red Wine Jus with Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2012. To compliment it all with Valrhona Chocolate Mousse with Mango and Saffron Jelly and Hennessy H250 Collector Blend. A Fantastic evening event.

    OASIS A/W 2014 FASHION

    The morning of September 10th saw us back with our lovely friends down at Oasis on St. Stephen’s Green for their AW14 Press Launch. Oh we do love fashion, and food! Everyone loves wrapping up for the winter but none so much as the fashion heads from the national press.

    The press and of course, the much-coveted bloggers! Upon arrival, they were greeted by shades of grey, maroon and nudes, fashion heaven. As they ogled the new collection, we offered them freshly brewed hot tea and coffee, and also freshly made smoothies. The theme of the day was ‘carnival’ and in true carnival style we served the ‘it’ pastry of the moment – cronuts. Chocolate with hazelnut and also blueberries flavours … To. Die. For! And the press thought so too…

  • LAYA Healthcare held a launch on the morning on 5th September and invited us to help them host, which were more than happy to do. LAYA, along with their Health & Wellness ambassador, Karl Henry, held a breakfast to promote a healthy heart for all ages. So health was the name of the game and we were only happy to oblige! Our delicious menu was most certainly heart healthy! Guests enjoyed homemade granola with natural yoghurt and honey, homemade oaty flapjacks, and abundance of fresh organic fruit and whole fruit smoothies; tasty and most certainly wholesome .

    It was great to hear guest speakers speak of the importance of treating your heart well especially when we learned a very interesting fact … in one day, your heart creates enough energy to drive a truck 20 miles!! Can you believe it?! So look after it folks, it looks after you!

  • On 3rd September 2014 we were back working with our friends over at Irish Cancer Society for their #paintitpink campaign launch. October is Breast Cancer Aware month and ICS wanted to get people to paint things pink to raise awareness and much needed funds. Given the pink theme, we served all pink food to the special guests, which went down a treat. While presentations were held and conversations were conversed, guests enjoyed Watermelon cubes wrapped in Parma, Jalfrezi Chicken in pink prosciutto cups, Surf & Turf Baby Potato Skins (Mackerel mousse with ham discs), Prawn Marie Rose Pots and fresh Strawberry & Watermelon Skewers! And what pink party is complete without Pink Lemonade?!
